How to Register Online:
Tournament Management Software powered by Golf Genius is used to register for all VSWGA events. The player needs to establish a player profile in Golf Genius. Once the profile is complete, a player must update their information each year (i.e., e-mail address and member club), as necessary. The player must meet the State Day Eligibility Requirements prior to registering for the State Day. Once eligibility is met, the VSWGA Member needs to register for the applicable State Day and pay $10 by credit card, which includes $2 for closest to the pin contest. See the Guest information for Guest Registration.
Instructions for registering for a state day in Golf Genius (link to a PDF file)

You may register 1-4 players at a time. Note that if you register more than one person, you will need to pay for any extra person.  For example, if you register a group of 4 you will need to pay $40 on your credit card.

When registering you are now able to choose a specific tee time. It is imperative that you not block out tee times to save them just in case you can play.  Please be certain that you and/or your group can play the time selected before booking the tee time.

If the course is offering forward tees, and you plan on playing them, you must register for the forward tees when registering to play in the event in Golf Genius.

When To Register: Registration will open three Fridays prior to each State Day at 6:00 a.m. Registration for a particular State Day will close at noon on Thursday before that State Day.

Late Registration: If the event is not full, late registration will be available for $15 after noon on the Friday before the State Day and before 8:00 AM the day before the State Day.

Posting of Pairings: State Day pairings will typically be emailed to all players in the field and posted online by noon on the Friday before the scheduled State Day.

Changes to registration after the Thursday before the State Day: Changes to a State Day reservation can be made in the Golf Genius system up until 8:00 AM the day prior to the State Day. If you must cancel after 8:00 AM the day prior to the State Day, then you must contact the Club by phone as a courtesy and notify the VSWGA Administrator at vswgaquestions@gmail.com.

Reserving Carts: When carts are listed as limited for a State Day, you must call the Pro Shop of the host golf course to reserve a cart. If you reserve a cart, you must call the Club to cancel your reserved cart if you cancel your registration.

Cancellation Refund Information:
• If you cancel your registration for a State Day after 8:00 a.m. the day before the event, you will not receive a refund.
• If you cancel your registration for a State Day prior to 8:00 a.m. the day before the event, you will receive a refund of $5 as long as you registered by noon the Thursday before the event.
• If you late-registered and paid a $15 late fee registration, you will not receive a refund.
