VSWGA Green Mountain Challenge

by Pam Boyd April 5, 2020

Mickie LaCroix, 1968
Vermont Amateur Champion: 1956, 1962, 1964, 1978

Welcome to the VSWGA Green Mountain Challenge!

In honor of 90 years of great golf, and starting in 2020, the VSWGA is challenging its members to play many (or all) of the golf courses this amazing state offers. This challenge starts in 2020, is open-ended, and will carry over into future seasons.

Any course that is played during State Days or Major Tournaments qualifies for your total (but each course can only be counted once). There are currently 52 eligible courses to play. The VSWGA asks that you track your participation and send in updates when you reach 15, 25, 35 and 50 courses. You will receive a certificate for reaching each milestone and your name will be included in our honor roll of players in future Member Handbooks.

Challenge Levels:
First to 15
Arrived at 25
35, What a Drive
Swingin’ 50

Check off the courses on the map as you play them. When you reach one of the Challenge levels, write the date next to the level and take a photo or a copy of the page and either e-mail it to info@vswga.org, or mail to VSWGA, PO Box 4224, Burlington, VT 05406.

Get your friends involved and start exploring Vermont courses that you may not have played before, or haven’t played in a while.
