Vermont Wins 2021 Tri-State Competition

Vermont rose to the challenge in the 2021 Tri-State Competition held at Rutland Country Club on June 15 &16. After the first day of competition Vermont had a substantial lead. Maine and New Hampshire came back strong on the second day, but Vermont prevailed. The players in all three divisions contributed to our decisive victory.

In the alternate competion gross was won by Linda Jane Parson from Vermont and Net was won by Peg Hatfield from New Hampshire.

We want to thank Rutland Country Club for hosting and making everything run smoothly.

We also want to thank the many people who worked behind the scenes helping the Tri-State Committee make this a successful event. A special thanks goes to our three committee helpers: Mary Jane Shomo, Jo Allsopp, and Fran McCune.

Last but not least, we want to give a shout out to Edith Hiller who has been a star player on our team for the past 40 years.
