Tiffany Maurycy Wins Mid-Amateur Championship in Newport
Newport Country Club, Newport, VT Saturday-Sunday, September 7-8, 2019
For the 5th time, Tiffany Maurycy (149) of Killington Golf Course, won the Mid-Amateur Championship. It was a narrow 1-stroke margin over runner-up Carson Laderoute (150) of Burlington Country Club. Andrea Brown (152) was third, finishing three strokes off the lead. Holly Reynolds (153) was fourth and four strokes back. Reggie Parker (157) rounded out the top five, only 8 strokes behind.
The ladies of Burlington Country Club combined to win the Margaret Dick Cup over second place Williston Golf Club.
The low net trophy was won by Mickey Potwin shooting a two day, -11 score of 133.
