The VSWGA welcomes our members to invite guest players to experience our State Days. This provides excellent opportunity for visitors or those curious about our State Days to gain first-hand experience. The option to bring a guest will be offered at numerous State Day events, provided space is available for all VSWGA members who want to play.
Guest registration will be available for small to midsize events that did not fill the prior year when regular registration opens two Fridays prior to the event. Members will take precedence for registration until noon on the Friday immediately prior to the event. At this time, the event will be assessed and guest registration opened should space be available.
Guests playing in a State Day will be placed in their own flight and no points will be awarded to them. Guests are not eligible for Closest to the Pin awards. Registration fee for guests for State Days is identical to that of members (a great deal!).
Eligibility
- Guests must have an active GHIN card (Vermont GHIN not required).
- Guest must create a profile in the Golf Genius system.
- Guest must play with a VSWGA Member.
Registration
- The VSWGA member directs their guest to create a profile in Golf Genius;
- The VSWGA administrator activates the guest in Golf Genius;
- The VSWGA Member registers their guest (may bring up to 3 per event) using the standard VSWGA Golf Genius registration process.
- The number of participants in an event will be monitored and the member may be notified that guest space is unavailable for the requested event if it fills with current members.
