VSWGA Junior Golf Committee
The VSWGA has a Junior Golf committee to coordinate efforts to promote the game, especially among youth in Vermont. Funding for Junior Golf is raised by the Closest to the Pin contests at every State Day as well as through events and partnerships including the annual Ruthie Schamback Memorial Tournament at Fox Run Golf Course. Annually VSWGA raises approximately $3,000 for Junior Golf.
We welcome any VSWGA member to contact us if you would like to join the committee or volunteer to help at junior clinics or tournaments.
The Vermont Golf Association Scholarship Fund
You can help support junior golfers! The Vermont Golf Association Scholarship Fund helps outstanding students with a connection to golf obtain a college education. An annual scramble tournament organized by the Vermont Golf Association Scholarship Committee raises funds for Junior Golf. This year it’s scheduled for Thursday, August 28. Register at vtga.org.
