What a wild ride! The finale of the 2024 Amateur came right down to the wire, with Lin Culver of Neshobe and Hailey Katona of Green Mountain National swapping shot for shot throughout the day. Hailey was leading the overall score by a stroke after 16 holes, but Lin birdied 17 and tied it up. The 18th hole was the tie-breaker – with Hailey sinking the winning putt for birdie to take the trophy home! Hailey shot 77-69-74 for a 54-hole total of 220. Lin shot 66-78-77 for a 54-hole total of 221.
Third place was also a slug-fest, with Tiffany Maurycy (77-79-76) of Copley Country Club and Carson Richards (79-75-78) of Lakeside posting strong scores to tie the three day tally with 232 each.
Fifth place was earned by Andrea Brown of Champlain Country Club, shooting 78-80-81 for a total of 239.

The Junior Championship trophy was taken by the sixth place finisher, Teegan Duffy. Teegan played consistently and posted 82-78-80 for a 240 total.

The low Net prize was won by Amy Butcher of Lakeside Golf Club shooting a 54-hole total net score of +2.

The Paquet Team Cup margin was only 2 strokes! The ladies of Williston Golf Course went low today and finished with a 3-day total of 766 to take the cup over Copley Country Club with a 768. The home team, Champlain Country Club posted 3rd place with 779 and Vermont National finished in 4th place with 791.
