Final Results
What a great day to be playing golf in our great state of Vermont! The Country Club of Barre, with it’s sweeping views of the green mountains was a picture-perfect setting for the final round of the Senior Championship.
I’m clearly focusing on the positives – which were great golf, an excited and competitive group of women, and the making and sharing of wonderful friendships (but for anyone that wasn’t there, we still contended with a storm delay, a bit of a deluge of rain, and some stifling heat). However, we persevered – and I witnessed many smiles in spite of the soggy clothes and equipment.
Now, for what you have all been waiting for… The 2024 VSWGA Senior Champion, by a commanding 6 strokes, is Lin Culver of Neshobe Golf Club. Lin shot a a 5-over par, 36 hole total of 149 (76,73). Congratulations to Lin.
