FINAL RESULTS
The Vermont Amateur Championship is a wrap. Congratulations to Tekla Fine-Lease of Ralph Myhre Golf Course, the crowning champion!
Fine-Lease finished Day 2 with an 8-stroke advantage into the Final Round, and she was able to carry home the win. She shot an impressive 73-77-78 for a three-day total of 228. Teegan Duffy, also of Ralph Myhre, took the runner-up slot, shooting a 75 today for a total of 235. Lin Culver from Neshobe Golf Club was a close third with a three-day total of 236.

In the Junior Division, Stella Rakochy from Kwiniaska Golf Club captured the cup with a three-day scored of 87-93-80 for a total of +38 to Par Gross. In second place was Lillian Collins of Lakeside at +42, and in third was Rylee Makay of Vermont National Country Club at +67.
In the net tournament, Lillian Collins of Lakeside captured first place with an impressive 225, +3 Total to Par Net. Stella Rakochy took second at 227 +5, and Tracy Sloan from Brattleboro scored an impressive 229, +7 Net to Par. Patti Haas from Killington Golf Course brought home fourth Net with a 234 +12 Total to Par Net. Dana Cassidy of Vermont National CC took 5th Net, and Shelly Yusko and Diane McCauley of Stowe took 6th net.
The Paquet Team Cup (three person team, total low gross) was impressively won by Williston Golf Club with +87 over second place Burlington Country Club at +174 and Dorset Field Club in third at +181.

DAY 2 RESULTS
Day 2 of the Vermont Amateur Championship showed beautiful weather and much drier conditions on the course.
Tekla Fine-Lease of Ralph Myhre Golf Course continues her lead, shooting a 3 over par 77 today for a two-day total of 150. In second place, Keely Culligan of Dorset Field Club made a move, shooting another 79 for a total of 158. Lin Culver of Neshobe Golf Club holds third place with a two-day total of 159. Teegan Duffy of Ralph Myhre Golf Course is at 160, Jeanne Morrissey of Williston is at 163, and Nikki Yatsenick from Stowe Golf Club is at 164. Carson Richards from Burlington Country Club is on the move, shooting a two-day total of 165 and Gretchen White of Williston Golf Club is at 167. Let’s see what Day 3 holds!
Lillian Collins of Lakeside Golf Club continues to lead our Junior Division with a two- day total of 174.
The Paquet Cup (3 person, total low gross) competition is still being led by the Williston Golf Club team (+58) continuing a commanding lead over Dorset Field Club at +113 and Burlington Country Club at +113.
DAY ONE RESULTS
The Vermont Amateur Championship kicked off on Tuesday with beautiful blue skies and gentle breezes, but soggy conditions from the torrential rains on Monday. The entire staff at Haystack made the players feel welcomed and well taken care of throughout the day.
After 18 holes, Tekla Fine-Lease of Ralph Myhre Golf Course is currently in the lead, shooting a 1-under par 73. Lin Culver of Neshobe Golf Club holds second place at even par 74. Then Teegan Duffy of Ralph Myhre Golf Course is at 76, Keely Culligan of Dorset Field Club is at 79, and Jeanne Morrissey of Williston is at 82.
Lillian Collins of Lakeside Golf Club is leading our Junior Division with an 83.
The Paquet Cup competition is currently being led by the Williston Golf Club team (+32) holding a commanding 24 stroke lead over Dorset Field Club at +56 and Burlington Country Club at +57.
