VSWGA State Days are weekly one-day 18-hole stroke play events that bring members together for some friendly competition. In 2019, we have 50 State Day events scheduled beginning May 7th. There are 2-3 courses to choose from each Tuesday, with venues in northern, central and southern Vermont. We’ll end the season with a day of golf, food, and fun at our annual Fall Awards Classic at the Quechee Club on September 24th.
The VSWGA fee for all courses, collected at the registration table, is $8. For an additional $2, enter the closest-to-the-pin contest–half the proceeds benefit Junior Golf. Players pay the pro shop, usually $20 to play 18-hole courses and $15 for 9-hole courses. Cart price and requirement will vary by course.
Players register for a state day by requesting a tee time using our on-line tournament management software.
Participants receive Award Points toward winning the Janet Lang Trophy. Clubs compete for the Mae Murray Jones Cup in three divisions. See Awards for more information on state day points and awards.
